We want to hear your unique take on these iconic tracks and show us how you bring them to life!
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a first-time singer, this competition is for anyone who has a passion for music and a story to tell through voice. Rules & Regulations
Eligibility
- Any citizens can participate.
- The entry must be a Malaysian song, even if performed by a non-Malaysian artiste. It must involve a Malaysian singer or songwriter.
- Contestants under 18 must submit a signed Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
- Song choices must align with the competition’s guidelines (refer to Song Choice Guidelines)
- Professional signed artists are not eligible to submit an entry.
- For those who made cover and posted into socials platform or even streaming platform like Spotify, Apple Music and etc are still eligible to join.
Submission Deadline
- You can register now to secure your entry.
- All entries (video posting) must be submitted in between 1st to 7th August 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- You will post your cover video on to your own social media which is Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.
- You will be given a guideline of posting soon via Whatsapp.
Registration Fee
- A submission fee of RM30 per song is required to participate. The submission fee is non-refundable upon a successful submission.
- Every contestant can submit a maximum of up to 5 songs. (Eg. the total fee to submit 3 entries would be RM90 = RM30 x 3)
Communication
- All official updates, announcements, and notifications will be communicated via WhatsApp with Tutti Commune.
Recording Quality
- While professional-quality recordings are encouraged, they are not mandatory.
Prizes
- Winner get prizes worth of RM25,000.
- The winner will get to enjoy a full professional music production at Maveriq Studios and professional video production.
- The winner will also get to be featured in Billboard at Bukit Bintang and experience being on a spotlight.
- The top 10 will get a RM200 Voucher from CK Music.
- The top 10 will get to enjoy RM300 worth of products.
Code of Conduct
- Tutti Commune maintains a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech, bullying, or any form of harassment. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification.
Song Choice Guideline
- The cover submitted must be a Malaysian composition, arrangement, producer
- All genres are welcomed
- No religious worship music.
- Minimum one vocalist
- There is no maximum number of participants involved in one entry
- All submitted content must be free from slurs, vulgarities, hate speech, political and religious opinions, or sexually explicit material.
- The use of AI-generated voices or the voices of others is strictly prohibited.
Video Submission Guidelines
- Participants must wear appropriate clothing in their video submissions. (No nudity)
- Lip syncing to your own voice is allowed, but lip syncing to another person’s voice is strictly prohibited.
Agreement
By participating in the Jom Nyanyilah Cover Song Competition, contestants confirm that they:
- Own the rights to their submitted content or have obtained necessary licenses/permissions from appropriate bodies.
- Will not use content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Are responsible for their own publishing cost, if they wish to publish, after the competition has ended
- Agree to indemnify and hold Tutti Commune and its partners harmless against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from copyright violations or unauthorized content use.
- Grant Tutti Commune the rights and licence to use submitted footage and recordings, as well as footage and recordings from Maveriq Studios and the music video for business and marketing purposes.
Tutti Commune full time staff will not be eligible to participate as a contestant and will not be allowed to be involved in any competition entries.
Tutti Commune and its partners are not responsible for any copyright disputes arising from contestant submissions.
All copyright-related matters are the sole responsibility of the contestants. Therefore, it is encouraged to come up with new and different stylistic takes on the arrangement of the covers to avoid being too similar with the original song.
Tutti Management reserves the right to amend terms & conditions and rules & regulations when it is absolutely necessary without prior notice.
