Tutti Method Belief In Growth Over Outcome
Tutti Method
The Tutti Method is a unique teacher training that uses music not just as a subject but as a powerful tool to enhance overall well-being and personal growth. Our approach emphasizes the role of music in fostering better communication, social interaction, confidence, motor skills, and other essential life skills. Rather than focusing solely on music exams or technical perfection, the Tutti Method prioritizes the joy of music—whether playing individually or collaboratively.
At the heart of the Tutti Method is a belief in growth over outcomes. We recognize that when students truly enjoy their learning journey, they thrive naturally, requiring minimal external motivation. This approach helps learners develop intrinsic goals in music while cultivating a wide range of soft skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
The training is structured across five core modules which consist of Communication, Motivation, Generational Profile, Professionalism, and Pedagogy. The training duration will span from one to two whole days.
Upon completion of this training, teachers will have the competency to tailor well-structured lessons with innovation and inspiration and deliver training to students effectively.

Play First, Learn Later
A Word From Our Principal

Poven
When I was 16, I signed up for guitar lessons with one goal—to shred on an electric guitar and become a rockstar. But my teacher had other ideas. He told me, “No electric guitar for you. Must learn classical guitar first.” Then, he conveniently sold me my first classical guitar.
Fine. I practised hard, got pretty good, and after two years, I asked again, “Can I learn electric guitar now?” He shook his head and said, “Not yet. Learn folk guitar first.” Then, he sold me a steel-string folk guitar.
By the third year, I tried again. “Electric guitar now?” Finally, he said yes! And guess what? He sold me my first electric guitar. Then, he casually admitted, “Actually, I don’t know how to teach electric guitar.” 🤦♂️
That was when I realised—I had spent years learning things that weren’t even part of my goal. Instead of playing electric guitar, I was dragged through classical and folk guitar, all because of someone else’s agenda. Time wasted, passion delayed.
At 20, I started teaching at a music school, eager to pass on everything I had learned. I wanted my students to progress fast and play their hearts out. But my boss pulled me aside and said, “Slow down. The slower you teach, the more money we make.”
That’s when it hit me—I had been the victim of a system that prioritised profit over real learning.
And that was the moment I knew: Music education needed to change.
