Shawn Chin

Shawn is a true all-rounder in music, seamlessly shifting between teaching, performing, and producing. Since 2016, he has been coaching students in drums, piano, and music production, tailoring lessons to each student’s pace. His chill and adaptable teaching style makes learning stress-free, yet he always finds creative ways to keep lessons fun and exciting. Whether it’s guiding students through Rockschool exams or leading group vocal training, he ensures every lesson is engaging and effective.

A seasoned performer since 2018, Shawn has played at countless live venues, wowing audiences with his versatility. His passion for music led him to establish his own studio, where he offers comprehensive music services and collaborates with agents on various projects. He is also deeply involved in his church community, mentoring young musicians for impactful Sunday services.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Contemporary Music (Composition) from UCSI University with Second Class Honours (Upper Division), Shawn brings both technical expertise and a fresh creative approach to teaching.
