hane’s drumming journey began at just five years old, leading him to complete the Rockschool syllabus from Grade 1 to 8 with distinctions in Grade 7 and 8. His education in drumming has been shaped by renowned mentors such as Elroy Jiek, Joash Loh, and Edwin Nathaniel, who have each contributed to his mastery of chops, limb independence, and foundational skills. Since 2019, Shane has been an active member of the Every Nation Church worship team, where he plays both drums and cajon, bringing rhythm and energy to his performances with over four years of experience.

Beyond his church commitments, Shane enjoys jamming in genres like fusion and math rock, drawing inspiration from bands like Polyphia and Chon. Influenced by drummers such as Matt Garstka and Zack Greybeal, Shane integrates their innovative techniques into his own unique style. With a passion for teaching and a wealth of experience, Shane is dedicated to helping students of all levels develop their skills and reach their full potential in drumming.
