Ho Jia Dong

Jia Dong is a powerhouse vocal coach and choral conductor from Melaka, known for his energy, humour, and ability to bring out the best in his students. Trained from the age of five under tenor Aguan Lim, he built a strong foundation in classical singing, leading him to perform in prestigious productions like Carmen, Grand Night of Opera, and international concerts such as Bring Us to Vietnam and Bring Us to Bali.

With a Diploma in Music from the Malaysian Institute of Art and a Bachelor of Music from Middlesex University (scoring an A in vocal performance!), Jia Dong is both a skilled performer and a dedicated educator. His achievements include multiple Gold Awards from competitions like the KLCO National Opera Singing Competition and the Sandakan International Music Festival, as well as a finalist spot in the 8th Hong Kong International Vocal Competition.
