Maeda’s Profile
Born in Okinawa, Shinichiro Maeda is a globally recognized opera singer with a career that spans Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe. After studying music in Japan under Ken Matsuura, Maeda further honed his skills in Milan with renowned opera singers Paride Venturi and Antonino Siragusa. He regularly performs at prestigious venues, including the New National Theater Tokyo, alongside orchestras like the Tokyo Symphony and Philharmonic. Maeda has won several accolades, including the grand prize at the 4th ‘Mrs. Butterfly International Competition’ in Nagasaki. Fluent in multiple languages, he is known for his powerful and expressive voice. Maeda has also collaborated with the Swedish pianist Anders Wihk on several albums, with their latest project recorded in Kuala Lumpur and set to launch soon.
